Sub-project: Development of Climate Data Information System for Cambodia
Background of Project
Cambodia is considered one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change impacts such as extreme weather, floods, droughts, and sea-level rise.
Information of future climate conditions over Cambodia is crucial for decision maker in developing climate change adaptation and mitigation planning.
Thus, this sub-project aims to develop a system to post-process, downscale, and archive the climate simulation data over Cambodia.
The generated climate data from the system is very important for climate change impact studies that can provide up-to-date climate change information to the public, as well as decision makers.
